Do you like to tinker with things to see how they can work, or how many different ways you can break something and put it back together?  That’s what being curious is about.  The excitement of discovering something you never knew possible before.

Children are extremely curious because everything around them is brand new; they are developing, growing, and learning every single day.  Their minds are absorbing anything and everything around them like a sponge.  The things that a child takes in will develop what and who they will ultimately become, so make sure they take in the good stuff, but don’t ever take away their ability to remain curious.

The reason this is important is because as a child gets older, they become more and more interested in things in life they have become comfortable with and less curious about the discovery of new and exciting things.
